In taking the next step from the Youth Team, Weiss had been a standout for the Reserves at Man City. He eventually made his first team debut in the last game of the 2008-2009 campaign coming on as a substitute at home to Bolton Wanderers.
He joined Glasgow Rangers in August 2010 and continued to remain there for the rest of the 2010/11 season,on loan.
