Switzerland U17 captain Frederic Veseli, first appeared on a regular basis for City's U16 side during the 2008-2009 season, joining them from Lausanne Sport.

 

A rock solid centre-back, he is strong and an assuring hand at the back. Freddie can also play as a holding midfield player

 

He has captained his country to winning the Fifa U17 world cup in Nigeria and has progressed from City's academy side to the reserve set up and made his debut when coming on as a substitute v Wigan Athletic in April 2010.
