Final Date set

The date for the Manchester Senior Cup Final against Bolton Wanerers has been arranged for Thursday 6th May 2010 at the Reebok Stadium with a kick off time of 6.30pm

Second for reserves

With four games in hand on City it looked for a long time that Liverpool would be favourites to grap second place in the Premier reserve league, but a series of defeats including last nights 1-2 reverse at home to Blackburn, means that the team from Merseyside can not leap frog over City

New 4 year deal for striker

Manchester City have handed a new contract to striking starlet Alex Nimely.

The Liberian-born striker has now progressed to the fringes of the first-team and has been handed a four-year contract

Guidetti in Sweden

As mentioned last week on MCRAA and now confirmed by City official website

Promising young striker John Guidetti has been loaned to Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna until the end of May.

John, who has just turned 18, returns to his native country after enjoying a fine season where he notched up 13 goals for the Under 18 side as well as the three that comprised his hat-trick for the reserves against Burnley.

IF Brommapojkarna play in the Allsvenskan, the top flight of Swedish professional football, and run their own highly-acclaimed youth academy

Tobias in Norway

It had been commented recently that not much had been seen of Tobias in Citys reserve side, well MCRAA have finally found the reason why. Tobias joined Norwegian side Kongsvinger on loan in March 2010 and is currently warming the bench for them,

Wolves date changed

Citys acadamy game at Wolves scheduled for Saturday 1st May has been put back to Tuesday 4th May. This move makes common sense as City were due to play Manchester United(27/4) and Stoke City (30/4) which would have meant 3 games in 5 days and this would have stretched resources at U18 level, where several players are missing due to injury.

City fan becomes academy coach????

CREWE youth coach and former strike favourite Colin Little has been poached by Manchester United's Academy.

Little, who had been coaching the Alex's under-15s for the past three years, has been appointed assistant coach of United's under-13s side.

The move also signals the end of the 37-year-old's non-league career with Altrincham, for whom he scored 112 goals in the Blue Square Premier.

Crewe boss Dario Gradi encouraged Little, a member of the Alex's 1997 Second Division play-off winning team, to begin coaching.

Gradi said: "He's left to go to Manchester United, of all the clubs to go to, as a Manchester City fan.

"He plays seven-a-side football with Brian McClair, and they'd been after him for a while."

Little said: "Dario's kept chipping away at me to devote more time to the coaching, and while it's a step down in a way, United don't come calling every day

Stoke Academy

A date of Friday 30th April, has been arranged for Citys academy game at Stoke City.Kick off is 11am

Guidetti to go out on loan

City's young Swedish striker John Guidetti is set to finalise a loan move back to his homeland.

The 17-year-old was set to sign for Djurgarden - but instead it now looks as if he will instead join their rivals Brommapojkarna.

Abdi signs New Contract

Manchester City teenager Abdisalam Ibrahim has been rewarded with a new contract tying him to the club until 2014.

The Norwegian midfielder has broken into the first-team squad this season and made his debut in the FA Cup fourth-round win at Scunthorpe United in January.

He was handed his Premier League bow the following month after appearing as a late substitute in the 0-0 home draw with Liverpool
